AP Exams 2016: Registration and payment for all AP exams has started in the ASB office and will continue until Friday, February 26th. For detailed information, check the Lynbrook website or look on bulletins posted around the school. Please bring your Student ID card and check made out to FUHSD to the ASB Office during brunch or lunch. One check may be written for multiple exams. /M. Baba


PSAT Score Reports & Test Booklets: PSAT Score reports and test booklets can be picked up in the College & Career Center. Please pick them up before Friday, February 12, 2016. /M. Baba


Lynbrook Winterguard Invitational: Lynbrook will be hosting its first winterguard competition on Saturday, February 13th, in the Lynbrook gym. Doors will open approximately at 3pm. Lynbrook will perform around 8:15pm and awards will end roughly around 10 pm. Tickets are $5 with ASB and $10 without. See you there! /M. Otoshi


Hearts Week: Make sure to write a kind note on your friends’ hearts! Freshmen hearts will be up Monday, sophomores on Tuesday, juniors on Wednesday, and seniors on Thursday. /A. Badger


Be My Buddy, First Annual Buddy Ball: Saturday, February 27th, 6:00-9:00 at Homestead High School. This event is only open to FUHSD students, so student ID cards will be required. Activities will include face painting, art & craft projects, cookie decorating, games, photo booth and a food truck vendor. The cost is $5 per person, advance purchase is encouraged, but tickets will also be sold at the door. See Mr. Schussler (room 209) or Ms. Amirault (507) to purchase tickets.



Sophomores: AP US History Diagnostic- 2016-17 School Year: All sophomores interested in taking AP US History next year are expected to take the diagnostic exam that is being administered on the morning of February 10, 2016 at 7:35 am in the Cafeteria. You must be on time for the exam. Sign up on the google doc on the front page of the Lynbrook website by February 5th. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Howden. /K. Howden

Are you ready to get started in developing a list of colleges you will apply to next fall?  Well, don't wait another minute because now is the time to sign up for the College Planning Workshops offered by FUHSD in partnership with the City of Cupertino! Science Club’s Valentine’s Day Heart Dissection! Attention Cupids, lovers, Romeos, Juliets, and shippers of Lynbrook Valentine’s Day is soon approaching. Have you ever marveled at the exotic depths of the human heart? Do you want to go on a passionate, one-of-a-kind Valentine’s Day endeavor with your sweetheart:  Then one activity on campus is perfect for you! Science Club’s heart dissection! Join us this Friday at lunch in Mr. Lee’s room, room 305 as we dissect preserved sheep hearts. Breathe the enticing exotic aromas of preservatives as you delicately prod at sheep flesh and unravel the deepest secrets of the heart! /L. Leung


Lynbrook DECA Professional Clothing Drive: Job interviews are stressful enough but imagine if you didn’t even have a blazer? To be a part of combating this problem Lynbrook DECA will be collecting professional clothing, from blazers to slacks to dress shirts, at the top of the quad until Friday, February 12th to donate to Dress for Success San Jose.
