International Day: Come celebrate Lynbrook’s diversity in the quad during lunch this Friday! There will be several cultures represented by Lynbrook parents and students. Seniors: Baccalaureate Audition- Any senior who would like to perform a vocal or instrumental solo or in a small group for their Baccalaureate Ceremony on Monday, June 1st may audition on Tuesday, May 5 during tutorial or Wednesday, May 6th afterschool at 3:10. You should audition with the song you would like to perform at the ceremony but it does not have to be memorized at the audition. / C. Isola

HEI Club Hosts Earth Week! Come out to HEI’s Earth week at lunch on the top of the quad Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for some exciting and informational environmental activities. / V. Frazita

 

NHS Speaker Event: Hey Lynbrook! National Honor Society is hosting Pathways, a unique speaker event on Friday, May 1st, from 6-8. The speakers include start up founders, teachers, and national science fair winners. Admission is $1 and proceeds go to the charity, Reading Partner. See you there! /M. Hamilton

 

Lynbrook Amnesty’s #ENDTORTURE Event: Come out to the quad this Thursday, to check out Lynbrook’s Amnesty exhibition on torture and police brutality on a global scale! There will be free food involved! /R. Shull

 

SPORTS:

Track results: Lynbrook had a big day at their track meet against Mt. View, winning all for divisions. Here are the event winners: Varsity girls: Esther Ho, Katya Trushchankova, and Nicole Huynh. Varsity boys: Reyjay Conner, Jim Sussenguth, Andy Shen, Revanth Nargurla, Kevin Dai, Brandon To, and Kevin Huang. Frosh/Soph boys: Alex Ti, Kevin Chacko, Edward Choi, Tyler Hunter-Wusher, Jeffrey Lin, Eric Zhong, and Marcus Pearce. JV girls: Kayli Chan, Jennifer Su, Irene Han, Misake Otani, Katherine Ziao, Kennedy Miedema, and Margeret Lu.

 

Boys Basketball: There will be a meeting for all boys interested in playing basketball next year on Tuesday during brunch in room 112.
