Spring Play:  The Lynbrook Drama Department will be presenting “Terezin Promise” in Studio 74 on Friday, March 27th; and Saturday, March 28th at 7:30pm.  Tickets are on sale during brunch and lunch in the ASB office.  Tickets are $8 with ASB and $10 without.  All tickets at the door are $10.  Get your tickets early, the shows will sell out!  /L. HSA Nominations Extended!:  Didn’t get a chance to nominate your coach, teacher, etc. for a HSA Award?  No worries because nominations have been extended until today!  Come out to the top of the quad at brunch for a community award.  This is your last chance so BE THERE!  /A. Badger

March Research Madness!:  Are you working on a research paper? Get help from a Library Media Teacher and take your research game to the next level!  Help is available in the library study room during tutorial until April 10th; at homework center on Mondays and Thursdays until 4:00pm through April 9th; and in the library on Wednesday, April 8th from 8:15-9:10am.  /S. Lynbrook Astronomy Club NASA STEM Guest Speaker Event:  Looking to pursue a career in STEM?  Want to find out what it’s like to work at NASA?  Lynbrook Astronomy Club will be hosting Horacio Chavez, a NASA Exhibit Manager, who will share his current projects and opportunities to help out in space administration.  This event will be open to all Lynbrook students and is on Wednesday, April 8th in Mr. Kwong’s room, room 603 at lunch, 12:45pm.  Hope to see you there!  /M. WiSTEM Bay Area Research Exposition:  Lynbrook, Saratoga and Monta Vista WiSTEM are hosting the Bay Area Research Exposition.  High school students can form groups of up to 3 people to solve a challenge presented to them.  Their solutions will be presented on April 4th at Intel in front of fellow students and a panel of judges.  More details, including the guest speaker list, can be found on  Signups close on April 3rd!  /E. Learn About Co-Op Education:  Freshman Admissions representative Teri Ann Matsuda of Drexel University in Philadelphia will be visiting Lynbrook on Monday, March 30th at lunch (12:25pm) to explain what a co-op education provides in the way of combining paid work experience with earning a college degree.  Drexel’s co-op program is ranked one of the top 100 in the U.S.  There will also be information about Drexel’s BS/MD program.  /M. Military Careers:  Does a military career interest you?  There will be a presentation about ROTC programs and scholarships in the library study on Friday, April 3rd, during tutorial.  Learn how you can earn a full tuition scholarship to college.  There will be information presented about all of the branches of the military.  /B.
