Closed Campus Reminder: A reminder to all students- Lynbrook is a closed campus, except during lunch hour. This means you cannot leave campus during tutorial or brunch or if you have a hole in your schedule. If you are leaving campus for an appointment, you must pick up an off campus pass from the Attendance Office prior to leaving.  / E. Wong


Student Parking: You must purchase and display a current 2016-2017 parking permit to park in the LHS student lot. You may purchase one from Mrs. Boehm in the ASB office. The deadline is August 31st. / J. Ramirez


Homework Center - Come to the library on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 3:15-5:00pm for Homework Center.  Teachers will be available to help students.  An English teacher will be available each day and a Science teacher will be available on Wednesdays.   Homework Center is open to all students.  Bring your student ID if you wish to checkout a textbook for Homework Center use. / M. All Siemens Competition and Regeneron Science Talent Search (formerly Intel STS) scientists and engineers: Lynbrook STEM will be hosting a scientific paper writing workshop for the next few weeks to help you start writing and editing your papers required for Siemens Competition and Regeneron STS. If you are competing in Siemens or STS, there is a MANDATORY meeting today at lunch in Room 305. A Lynbrook alum who was an STS finalist will be running the workshop to help you achieve these finalists’ dreams! Again, Today at lunch in Room 305. / J. Lee


National Honors Society Membership Application: To all Juniors and Seniors, the National Honor Society is now accepting applications for the 2016-2017 school year. All interested students must have at least a cumulative 3.5 GPA. Applications will be sent out via School Loop Email. Please read over the application carefully to make sure you get all the required components. Applications are due Monday, September 12th, 3pm to Mrs. Yang’s box in the main office.
