The Community Taskforce on Student Wellness is currently reviewing aspects of student wellness that could result in changes in our schools such as a later school start time, demands on student time outside the school day, and how aspects of mental health are addressed.


You are cordially invited by Superintendent Polly Bove to attend a community forum on Thursday, March 2, 2017 which will include an informational presentation and an opportunity for the community to ask questions, share concerns and make suggestions.

You are invited to the opening celebratory section of the Tuesday, February 28, 2017, Board Meeting that will take place in the Lynbrook auditorium. Come to cheer and honor the Viking staff members and students who will be recognized. This is our night to SHINE and let the FUHSD board experience all that makes Lynbrook the remarkable place that it is.

The celebration portion of the evening will start no sooner than 6:15 pm and the reception is expected to conclude before 8:00 pm.

On March 21 LHS PTSA sponsors "Internet Safety- What parents of teens NEED to know"  


Angela Alvarado is a career prosecutor who has served as a Deputy District Attorney for Santa Clara County for the last 18 years. As a trial prosecutor, she has tried over 100 cases including violent felonies, domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, crimes against children and 3 Strikes life cases.

She has been a statewide instructor for law enforcement on the topics of juvenile crime, human trafficking, child abuse and sexual assault for over 10 years. 

Angela is an expert in the areas of digital safety and the law. She has educated hundreds of parents, students, and school administrators on the current trends in technology and the potential dangers.

Come join fellow Vikings at the beautiful Avaya Stadium for a fun night of soccer!  Watch the San Jose Earthquakes take on MLS Champions, Seattle Sounders FC.


The game is on Saturday, April 8th at 7:30pm.  Gates open at 5:30pm.  Tickets are $30.


A portion of the ticket sales will help support the Lady Vikings Soccer team.
