APUSH Summer Assignment Information Meeting: To ALL sophomores enrolled in AP US History for the 2015-16 school year there is a meeting, at lunch, in the Cove tomorrow to go over class expectations and the summer assignment. If you are unable to attend please come see Mr. Howden in room 504 after May 27th during tutorial. /K. Howden


2015-2016 AP Government Orientation: All students taking AP Government next year must attend the course orientation meeting on Friday, May 29th in the auditorium. The meeting will start at the beginning of 7th period. Please arrive promptly. We will preview the course for you, explain the summer reading assignment, and announce the textbook check-out schedule. / M. Williams


Yearbook Distribution: Yearbook distribution will be on May 28th. Everyone must have their ASB ID Card. If you no longer have yours, see Mrs. Boehm in the ASB office no later than noon on May 27th. She will make you a duplicate for $5.00. Also you must clear all delinquencies and have all books turned in. See posted flyer in your classrooms or on the library doors for class times of distribution. /N. Belmont


Le Grand Concours: Congratulations to Lynbrook National winners of “Le Grand Concours” an annual competition taken by students learning French in the US and abroad. This year again, Lynbrook High School was awarded with another record number of 185 national winners! / V. Amzallag
