Every Child, One Voice
Each member of a student's family is eligible for PTSA membership, including the student, parents, grandparents, siblings. We value staff membership! Community members (alumni, parents of alumni, school board members, neighbors, etc.) may also join. This page lists some of the many benefits that each group of members receives.
In addition to a vote and a voice at our PTSA meetings, your membership qualifies you for benefits and discounts with many companies and stores that partner with PTA on a national level. These include Barnes and Nobel, HP, Southwest Airlines, MetLife and many others. Please check them out at www.pta.org, with the username and password on the back of your membership card.
Student Benefits
- SAT and PSAT preparation classes are offered in the fall and spring
- Our Job Shadow program helps students make valuable career choices
- Reflections is a National PTA program that helps us promote and celebrate our student artists in Literature, Visual Arts, Music Composition, Photography, Dance and Film
- Scholarships and Financial Aid for student clubs and activities
- Bike to School Day promotes healthy, environmentally friendly life-styles
- The Lynbrook Telephone Directory helps students contact their classmates to work on projects outside of class.
