Senior Award
The LHS PTSA recognizes that during their years at Lynbrook some students have put a lot of effort into giving back to the school and the community through service. We see this as an essential aspect of emotional growth and maturity in the high school years – and are proud and grateful to acknowledge their efforts.
Do you know of someone who has committed hours of time, energy and dedication towards serving others? Are you such a person yourself?
Please tell us about yourself or this person – and how you believe you, he, or she has worked on service projects that have benefited other students or the school community.
We would expect that this student has spent a lot of time - over the past 4 years – working on an individual level or with a group, organizing, helping with, or promoting projects that have been of benefit to other students, the school, or the school wide community. This student has worked selflessly towards helping others. Perhaps s/he has tutored other students for no payment, or led, or worked hard to promote, a blood drive or other charitable cause.
Don’t forget to include the following information in your application or nomination:

Ways in which the student has worked on service projects that have benefited other students or the school community during all four years of high school: (Please attach additional sheets)
